Edwin D. Rhodes, 78, passed away May 17, 2022, at Hospice of the Panhandle.  Preceding him in death were his parents, Delbert and Myrtle Rhodes, and brother Michael Rhodes.  He is survived by his wife, Linda Rhodes; brother Ken Rhodes (Gail); sons Jeff Rhodes, Greg Rhodes (Renata); stepson Michael Walling; and grandson Sean Walling.

Ed worked in construction and retired in 2005 from Tricon.  He was previously employed by National Applicators for approximately 30 years.

Ed enjoyed hunting, ATV trips and traveling.  Once retired he volunteered with the C&O Canal Organization.  He was generous with his time and would help anyone.  Ed enjoyed cooking, especially grilling.  The boys remember his tendency to overly "char" the burgers and brats.

In lieu of flowers and in memory of Ed, the family requests spending quality time with your family and performing acts of kindness.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, June 3, 2022 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV.
