Elfreda B. "Bunny" Slack died July 27, 2024, at her home surrounded by her friends and family.

She was born, August 23, 1937 in Jefferson County, West Virginia to the late George and Sally Bell.

Two sisters; Sally Louise Murray and Shirley Jones and a son, Roger Dean Slack, preceded her in death.

Surviving is a son, Jeff Slack, of Old Fields, West Virginia along with his wife, Mary Catherine, three sisters; Evelyn Whittington of Martinsburg, West Virginia, Georgiana Robinson of Winchester, Virginia and Mary Richards of Harrisonburg, Virginia, two grandsons Ethan Slack of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Nathan Tanner of Mineral Wells, West Virginia and two great grandchildren.

She will be remembered as a most wonderful, caring and loving friend, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother.

The family would like to express our gratitude to her family members and friends who served as caregivers and also to Hospice of the Panhandle for the very compassionate care that they provided.

Services will be private.
