Ervin Dale Nick, 72, of Kearneysville, WV, passed away on Friday, September 12, 2025, at home.

Born on December 21, 1952, in Martinsburg, WV, he was the son of the late Fred and Marguerite "Peg" Nick. He was raised by Bootie and James Pierson. He was a member of Daisy's Chapel and was a very devout Christian.

Ervin Spent over 40 years as a sheet metal installer in the HVAC industry, and retired from U.S. Customs and Border Protection. He never knew a stranger, and made room for everyone at his table when they didn't have one of their own. He loved Fords and mowing everyone else's yard.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Linda, at home; two daughters, Melissa Pereira, and husband, Marco, of Woodbridge, VA, Jennifer Wolford and Husband, Shawn, of Kearneysville, WV; four grandchildren, Corey, Josh, Allie, Keyly; three brothers, Jimmy Pierson, Jake Nick, Ronnie Nick; numerous, nieces, nephews, cousins and his faithful best K-9 friend, Buddy.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, David Nick and Paul Nick.

Services will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 11:00 A.M., at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV, with Pastor Thomas Hoffmaster "Huffy" and Pastor Danny Nick officiating.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, from 6:00 P.M.- 8:00 P.M., at the funeral home.
