Fitzgerald Roger Cody, 58, of Ranson, WV passed away Sunday, November 26, 2023 at Jefferson Medical Center in Ranson, WV.

Born January 6, 1965 in Paris, France, he was the son of the late David Cody and Solange Moulinier Cody.

He was of the Methodist faith.

Fitzgerald was a graduate of Bladensburg High School, Class of 1984, where he was in Air Force ROTC. He was a bus driver with Jefferson County Schools

He loved to cook, starting his working years at the Old Ebbitt Grill.  He also loved the beach.

He is survived by his two sons, Nikolas and Christopher Cody of Montgomery Village, MD, daughter, Marisol Cody of Ranson, WV, three grandchildren, Ayden, Harleigh and Ryleigh, four sisters, Nicole, Barbara, Betty and Jacqueline, his fiance', Beth Barnes, two nieces, Virginie and husband, David and Lola, and a host of extended family and friends.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Leetown United Methodist Church, 11133 Leetown Road, Kearneysville, WV with Pastor Debbie Mooney officiating.

The family will receive friends at the Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV on Friday, December 1, 2023 from 6-8 pm and two hours prior to the service at the church on Saturday.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
