Frances Ann Cannon, 81, of Kearneysville, WV passed away February 24, 2026 at her residence.

Born January 25, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Carroll Arnold and Glenda Frye Arnold.

She was of the Methodist faith.

Frances retired from the Loudoun County Sheriffs Records Office with over 30 years of service.

She is survived by one daughter, Stephanie Payne and husband, Jackie and one  granddaughter, Tia Reid.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles "Jim" Marshall Cannon.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV.

Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Methodist Church Cemetery in Lovettsville, VA.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 pm on Tuesday, March 3, 2026.
