Frances Lucille Jackson, 96, of Chestnut Hill, WV, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2024 at the Hospice of the Panhandle Inpatient Facility in Kearneysville, WV.

Born December 25, 1927 in Harpers Ferry, WV, she was the daughter of the late Perry Lancaster and Essie Wilt Lancaster.

She was a member of the former Chestnut Hill United Methodist Church.

She was  retired from Double Day in Berryville, VA after many years of service.

She is survived by three daughters, Yvonne Jackson and Ted, Judy Ashbaugh and Freddy and Robin McDaniel and Jerry, five grandchildren, Bob, Pam, Kathy, Scott, and Wayne, nine great-grandchildren, Brittany, Matthew, Katelyn, Corey, Oakley, Logan, Tyler, Isabelle, and Kylee,  two great-great grandchildren, Myles and Serenity, two sisters, Josephine Mercer and Maxine Longerbeam.

She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, William Piper, second husband, Ward Jackson, one son, Gary Piper, one grandson, Billy Breeden, one sister, Ida Piper and one brother, Calvin Lancaster.

Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, April 5, 2024 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV with Pastor Bill Rowley officiating. Interment will follow in Chestnut Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, April 4, 2024 from 6-8 pm.

Pallbearers will be Bob Jackson, Scott Jackson, Tyler Jackson, Wayne McDaniel, Matthew Cogle, and Corey Piper.
