Kovach

It's with a sad heart that we had to say goodbye to Frank Lionel Kovach on May 27, 2025 at the age of 59.
Frank was born July 24, 1965 in Ohio and was the son of the late Frank Kovach and Nellie Bragg Kovach. He was one of three children.
He was a veteran serving six years in the US Air Force in Security Forces and then went on to serve in the United States Secret Service retiring as a Lieutenant in 2015. He was currently employed as a government contractor.
Frank took much pride in being employed as an adjunct professor at American Public University, teaching topics of Homeland Security and Weapons of Mass Destruction.
He attended Mountain State University, earning a degree Bachelor's of Arts in Criminal Justice, later attending American Public University earning a Master's degree in Homeland Security, and was enrolled at Walden University, where he was a Ph.D candidate.
His hobbies included hunting, fishing, and the outdoors, along with being a car enthusiast. He loved to restore classic cars, attend cruise in's, auto auctions and car shows, in which he won many prizes for his work.
He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Sandy Kovach, his sons, Hunter Kovach and Collin Kovach, in-laws, Charles and Elizabeth Caldwell, siblings, Tammie Kovach and Annette Kovach, many friends and his beloved canines.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandparents, and his beloved service working dog K-9, Elmo.
Services will be private.
