Obituary

E. Gail Jackson, 82, of Harpers Ferry, WV passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at her residence.

Born April 2, 1943 in Leesburg, VA, she was the daughter of the late Frederick Edward Orrison and Frances Lucille Cooper Orrison.

She was a member of The Roman Catholic Parish of St. James the Greater in Charles Town, WV.

She is survived by two daughters, Bessie Nelson and Mara Clauson and husband, Kent, grandchildren, Haley Salas and David, Marvin Jackson, Dennis Jackson and Raeann, Mallary Skubbon and Micah, Darin Clauson, Katherine Clauson, Timothy Jackson, Tyler Cotton and Kerstain and  Chloe Jackson, great grandchildren, Richie Nelson, III, Legacy Nelson, Malachi Nelson, Parker Salas, Xander Jackson, Denver Skubbon, Oliver Skubbon, Levi Cotton, Owen Cotton and Carter Cotton, and one aunt, Barbara Cooper.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Jackson, Sr., two sons, Marvin "Buzz" Jackson, Jr, and Timothy Jackson, grandson, Richard Nelson, Jr., and five siblings, Freddie Orrison, Patsy Cox, Shirley Sipe, Bell Ann Parson, and Donnie Orrison.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, April 7, 2025 at St. James Catholic Church, 49 Crosswinds Drive, Charles Town, WV with Father Shinu as the Celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Peters Cemetery in Harpers Ferry, WV.

The family will receive friends at the Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV on Sunday from 6-8 pm with a Vigil and a Rosary at 7:30 pm.

Pallbearers will be Marvin Jackson, III, Timothy Jackson, Jr., Darin Clauson, Tyler Cotton, David Salas and Micah Skubbon.
