Geraldine K. Waters, 92, of Dargan, MD, went across the river, Jordan, on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 5:40 pm. while a resident of the Fahrney-Keedy Nursing Home. She died peacefully in her sleep.

She was born on March 20, 1931 in the little village of Dargan, MD, surrounded by God's nature, where she called home her entire life.

Geraldine was the daughter of Reno and Etta (Gen) Hetzel.

She was preceded in death by her late husband, Lloyd "Bull Neck" Waters and spent many years of happiness with him. Also preceding her in death is a brother, Harold "Tom" Hetzel and a sister, Dorothy Resseger.

Geraldine is survived by her son's, Lloyd "Pete" Waters (Sheila, deceased) and Ronny "Roc" Waters (Faye, deceased). Additional members of the family include, grandchildren, Amy K. Waters-Parasiliti and Bob; Rhonda Stover and Dan; and their children Kara and Ryan, Buck Waters and Jill and children, Rylee and Landon and Kiersten Minter and husband, Andrew.

Graveside services will be held at the Samples Manor Cemetery at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 21, 2023 with Pastor Joe Goetz officiating. A meal will follow at the Burnside First Church of God.

We thank God for the life and all those special memories of Geraldine K. Waters left to keep us comforted.
