Greyson Shoemaker, born on March 19,1999, in Warrenton, Virginia, passed away on October 29, 2025.

Grey worked in digital media during the teen years, both on camera, and as a special effects makeup artist. After attending art school at Paier College, the focus shifted to painting and illustration, with Grey having work displayed in galleries, and taking commissions for custom paintings.  Grey had traveled after college, living and working in Connecticut, Gettysburg, PA, Omaha, Nebraska and Springfield, Illinois before returning home to West Virginia.  A gifted artist and creative soul, Grey was an animal lover who enjoyed time in nature, cooking with family, and adventures with friends.

Grey is survived by mother and stepfather, Darla and Clint Gaige, brothers James and Thomas Gaige, grandparents Al Gaige and Alan and Mona Lees, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Grey is preceded in death by brother Timmy and biological father Chris Shoemaker.
