Our Beloved Grover Ray Daniels, 88, left this world on December 17, 2021.  He was born in Edgecombe County, North Carolina on June 30, 1933.

He's preceded in death by his mother, Beaulah Dickens Daniel Agner; and his father, Herman Spencer Daniel.

Ray grew up in Rocky Mount, then moved to Chesapeake VA, and graduated from Churchland High School; marrying his love, Peggy Daniels, and residing in Portsmouth, Annandale, and retiring in Harpers Ferry, WV.   Ray worked and retired as a DOD government contractor.

He is survived by his five children, Jody Ann (Daniels) Stewart, Carla (Daniels) Siegismund, Dianna Ingram, Larry Hand, Glen Cartwright; nine grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

A memorial will be held on Monday, December 27, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV.
