Harry “Don” Lee, of Charles Town, WV went to be the Lord on Thursday, April 24, 2026 at the Hospice of the Panhandle Inpatient Facility in Kearneysville, WV.
Born February 22, 1936 in Seymour, Missouri, he was the son of the late Harry and Tressa Lee.
He was an extremely hard working and dedicated family man. He enjoyed planning and experiencing large ski trips with family and friends, traveling the world, enjoyed many types of music, but his favorite was Frank Sinatra, and spending time with his family. He also had a love for building and renovating homes in the Shannondale area.
Through his journey of 90 years, he touched many lives with his wisdom and humor, as he never met a stranger. Don always had an unwavering support and loyalty to family and friends.
He is survived by his daughter Belinda Lee Weber and her husband Eric Weber of Shenandoah Junction, WV; his son John Scott Lee of Harpers Ferry, WV; two grandchildren, Patrick Seth Stoneberger and his wife Angela Stoneberger, and Brendon Danielle Lee and husband Bruce Lee; great grandchildren Andrew Lee, Elijah Rey and Emalie Gene Stoneberger; and his companion of many years, Patricia Chandler.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Conkle Lee, four siblings, Robert Lee of Boulder CO, Dorothy Mohn of Thorton CO, Edith “Jeannie” Dinnebeck of Layfayette, CO and Peggy “Mary” Stengel of Kremmling, CO.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, May 1, 2026 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV with Reverend Jeffrey Berry officiating. Interment will follow in St. Peters Cemetery in Harpers Ferry, WV.
A visitation will be held from 9-11 am at the funeral home before the service.
In lieu of flowers the family encourages those to donate to Hospice of the Panhandle, 330 Hospice Lane, Kearneysville, WV 25430, to support continued care for patients and families.
