Isabella Ava Boyd, 16, departed this life Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at WVU Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.

Born on August 29, 2006, in Winchester, VA she was the beautiful daughter of Brandy Mcfarland of Inwood, WV.

In April, Isabella was diagnosed with stage 4 Large B-Cell Lymphoma. She began treatment immediately and endured months of strenuous treatment. Unfortunately, on July 25, 2023 her body, already so weak from chemo, gave into a very aggressive infection. It happened very fast and her mom, Brandy, was with her up to the very last second. Isabella is remembered for being an absolute ray of light. She had so much love and joy in her. People who had the pleasure of meeting her were changed forever.

Isabella is survived by her mother, Brandy McFarland; her little brother, Sawyer McFarland; her grandmother and grandfather, Kathy and Dale McFarland.

A Celebration of life will be held for Isabella at her family home on Saturday, August, 19, 2023.
