Jackie Eugene Grove, Sr, 69, of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia passed away June 19, 2024 at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.

Born November 9,1954 in Charles Town, West Virginia, he was the son of Gloria Dean Cogle Grove and the late Floyd Ellsworth Grove, Sr.

Jack loved spending time with his family, playing cornhole, driving his trike and little kit car. He was an employee at Southland Concrete for 40 years.

He is survived by his mother Gloria Grove; four children, Jackie "JR" Grove, and wife, Gayle; Jamie Grove, Heather Grove, Jeremy Grove, and wife, Kelly; and nine grandchildren, Jacquelyn Grove, Dylan Grove, Kesean Pachot, Cody Grove, Madelyn Grove, Kiera Pachot, Jade Cunningham, Ethan Grove and Maddox Grove; one great-grandson, Greyson Grove; two sisters, Ronda Grove Virts and Diane Grove Neidringhaus; two brothers, Floyd and Victor Grove.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sharon Grove.

The family will receive friends Sunday, June 23 from 6-8pm and Monday, June 24 from 6-8pm at the funeral home.

Services will be held Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at 11:00 am at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry WV 25425.

Interment will follow in Silver Grove Church Cemetery.
