James Wesley Deaver, 47, of Berkeley County, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on October 3, 2026, at Hospice of the Panhandle.

Born on June 21, 1979, in Orange County, California, James spent much of his life as a carpenter. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, but his greatest joy was spending time with his three children, whom he was incredibly proud of.

James is survived by his loving wife, Christie; his three children, Ethan (Diddle), Isabella (Ben), and Austin; his siblings, Michael and Tabitha; and his parents, James and Allena.

James will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family and all who knew and loved him.

Services will be held on Friday, October 9, 2026, at 1:00 P.M., at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV, with Pastor David Wymer officiating.
