Janieve Long, 79, of Kearneysville, WV passed away Sunday, June 12, 2022 at Jefferson Medical Center in Ranson, WV.

Born June 22, 1942 in Lundale, WV,  she was the daughter of the late Hobert and Zelda Elkins White.

She was of the Southern Baptist faith.

Janieve was an avid Washington Nationals and Redskins fan. She loved to needlepoint.

She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, David, at home; daughter, Tracy Long and George; four sons, David "Bruce" Long, Tom Long and Tina, Jeff Long and Bunny, Greg Long and  Risa, sister, Ella Mae Woods, eleven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Hobert 'Buddy" White and daughter-in-law, Annette Long.

Services will be held at 11:30 am on Friday, June 17, 2022 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV with Pastor Dan Caldwell officiating.

Interment will follow in Pleasant View Memory Gardens in Martinsburg, WV.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6-8 pm and one hour prior to the service on Friday.
