October 3, 1939 – February 1, 2022
Jean S. Mangold, 82, of Ranson, West Virginia passed away February 1, 2022 at her home.
Born October 3, 1939 in Charles Town, West Virginia she was the daughter, of the late Clarence and Gloria Sine.
Jeannie worked for the Moose Lodge No. 948 of Ranson, for over 35 years. She was a lifetime member of the Women of the Moose, where she earned several different degrees and held many positions. She continued to be a big part of the organization by helping with special functions or wherever she was needed.
She enjoyed yearly visits to the beach, spending time with her family, watching Jeopardy and Wheel-of-Fortune on TV and spoiling her great-grandbabies.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Sr., of Ranson; four children, Jimmy Mangold and wife, Cindy, of Kearnesyville, Jon Mangold and wife, Sheryl, of Kabletown; Kathy Mangold and boyfriend, Rick Mocarski, of Ranson; and Karen Mangold and boyfriend, Brian Crampton, of Ranson; one brother, Ted Sine and wife, Ramona, of Kearneysville; two sisters, Helen Jenkins and husband, Dave, of Ranson and Daisy Laycock, of Kearneysville; one brother-in-law, Danny Jenkins, of Charles Town; three grandchildren, Kayla Meehan, Katie Mangold and Corey Mangold; two great-grandchildren, Sailor and Storm Jones; and her fur-baby, April.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Evelyn Jenkins and Anna Coffman; and one grandson, Hunter Muse.
Services will be held Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at 2:00pm at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV, with Pastor John Lewis officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant View Memory Gardens, Martinsburg, WV.
The family will receive friends Monday, February 7, 2022 from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
