Jeffery L. Tribby, 72, of Harpers Ferry W. VA passed peacefully Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at the Hospice of the Panhandle Inpatient Facility in Kearneysville, WV.

Born February 3, 1954, in Bolivar, WV, he was the son of the late Levin West Tribby and Mabel Loretta Tribby.

He loved spending time with his family; at one time he enjoyed playing tennis and was an avid bingo player.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Gail E Tribby, one daughter Misty Orndorff; son in law Joe Orndorff; and two grandsons, Ethan Orndorff, and Colton Orndorff.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Gene Tribby, Wayne Tribby, Dale Tribby; and his sisters, Connie Cole, Sharon Taylor, Linda Penny, and Shirley Darr.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 18, 2026, from 6-8 pm at, Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Panhandle, 330 Hospice Lane, Kearneysville, WV 26430.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Hospice of the Panhandle for the compassionate care and support provided to Jeffery and his loved ones during his final days.
