Jeffrey Walter West, Sr., 66, of Charles Town, West Virginia passed away Sunday, January 23, 2022 at home.

Born May 8, 1955, in Alexandria, Virginia, he was the son of the late Robert West and Sarah Eaton West.

He was of Methodist faith.

He was a US Army Veteran, retiring with 20 years of service and was a surgical technician.  He was a long time member and real advocate for the Boy Scouts, both of his sons having attained their Eagle Scout.

Jeffrey is survived by his loving wife of nine and a half years, Laura, at home; two sons, Jeffrey W. West, Jr. and wife Larissa of Vermont and Daniel West of Winchester; two step sons, Jonathan Clay and Stephen Clay; four brothers, Robert Dice West, Jr. and wife Joan, Dennis W. West and wife Kathleen, Kenneth W. West and wife Sally and Steven E. West and wife Darlene; eleven nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at a later date.
