John Richard Walcott's Obituary
John Richard Walcott, 93, of Harpers Ferry, passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2008, at his residence.
He was born on January 5, 1915, in Keyser, WV, and was the son of the late William Hunt Walcott, M.D., and Margarite Morse Walcott.
He retired as a Lt. Col. US Marine pilot, having served in WWII for our freedom.
He was strong in his Christian faith and confident of his eternal security, having accepted Jesus Christ as his savior early in life.
He is survived by two daughters, one son and one sister.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
