John Joseph Winterstine, Sr., 73, of Harpers Ferry, WV passed away May 16, 2025 at his residence.

Born June 14, 1951 in Cumberland, MD, he was the son of the late Frank Charles Winterstine, Sr. and Gladys Marie Smith Winterstine.

John was a retired veteran of the US Air Force with 20 years of service.

John attended Fellowship Bible Church until he was too sick to go. He was a member of the American Legion in Charles Town, WV.

He had a passion for motorcycles, cars and guns. His most proud accomplishment was his family, who will miss him so very much.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Brenda of Harpers Ferry, his daughter, Joann Frye and husband, Charles of Martinsburg, WV, his son, John Joseph Winterstine, Jr. of Alexandria, VA, two grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Jordan Boyd, and one sister, Mary Winterstine.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank "Buster" Winterstine, Jr. and Earl Winterstine and two sisters, Yvonne Lloyd and Louise Peckins.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, May 23, 2025 at Fellowship Bible Church, 160 Daniel Road, Shenandoah Junction, WV with Pastor Van Marsceau officiating. Interment will follow in Rosedale Cemetery in Martinsburg, WV.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
