Joni Marie Thompson, 43, of Charles Town, West Virginia passed away Monday, July 4, 2022.

She was born July 6, 1978 in Norfolk, Virginia and she was the daughter of James Morgan and Debra Sexton Goldman.

Joni loved the outdoors and spent much of her time at the river with her children, family and friends. Cherished by many, she found joy and community among her best friends. Joni was a dedicated hospitality professional who made lasting friendships with her colleagues. She could make anyone laugh and was admired for her resilience and grit. Above all else, Joni was a loving mother and will be missed dearly.

She is survived by her children, Ethan, Olivia and Isaac; parents, Debra and David Goldman; sister, Casey Goldman and many close friends.

Services will be Saturday, July 16, 2022 at 11:00 am at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV.
