Jordan Taylor
James
February 25, 2002 – February 21, 2025
Jordan Taylor James, of Harpers Ferry, WV passed away on Friday February 21, 2025. She was born on February 25, 2002, in Rockville, MD to loving parents, Tsia Staver and Brian James.
From an early age, Jordan loved books, writing, and was smart beyond her years. She loved art, and could draw anything you put in front of her. She cared deeply for animals, especially her cats. As she grew, her personal style and her love of fashion blossomed with her. A friend of hers recently said that she didn't understand the phrase "a person lights up the room" until she met Jordan. Jordan truly was the life of the party. She made everyone feel loved and seen.
Jordan grew up mostly in Harpers Ferry, graduating from Washington High School before attending West Virginia University and eventually Shepherd University, where she earned her Bachelors degree in Psychology this past December. Her goal in life was to work with and help children - a goal which she was able to achieve even in her short time on this Earth.
In addition to her mother and father, left to always love and cherish her memory are her stepfather (Whitney Staver), stepmother (Rachel James), sisters (Kennedy Staver and Kayla James), special Nana and Pop Pop (Lisa and Lester Robinette), grandfather (Alan James), aunts and uncles (Brandon and Chasity Robinette, Nicholas and Amanda Robinette, Larry and Victoria Tressler, Alan and Tiffany Cohen, Stephanie Brown), cousins (Abbie, Logan, Cayden, Keely, Corbin, Kinsley, Larry, Emmy, Shane, Kalin, Aaron, Gabriella, Ash, Jonathan), Will Pugh who was very special to Jordan's heart, and countless more family and friends.
