It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jose Galacion Moran Almeida, who passed away on June 2, 2026 at the age of 53.

Jose Galacion Moran Almeida was born on September 13, 1972 in Querétaro, Mexico to Socorro E. Garcia Acosta and Galacion Moran Ortiz.

Jose was known for being very hardworking, the love he had for his children, his intelligence. He was always very lively and never failed to make others around him smile and laugh. He touched the lives of many throughout his lifetime.

He is survived by Adahir Moran-Jaimez, Eva Moran Jaimez, Angel Galacion Moran Jaimez, Stephani Hernandez-Jaimez, Giovanni Hernandez-Jaimez , a soon-to-be-born granddaughter, Annalia Moran-Alvarado, who was already deeply loved and eagerly anticipated by him, as well as siblings Nancy Moran Almeida, Gabriel Moran Almeida, Nohemi Almeida, Irasema Orozco and other loved ones, including Veronica Jaimez-Diaz.

Jose Galacion will be remembered always and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at, 10:00 A.M., at St. James Catholic Church, 49 Crosswinds Dr., Charles Town, WV, with Father Manny as Celebrant.

Interment will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., with a Rosary and vigil starting at 7:30 P.M..
