Judy Ann Chambers, 77, of Kearneysville, WV passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2026 at the Hospice of the Panhandle Inpatient Facility in Kearneysville, WV.

Born March 24, 1949 in Bluefield, WV, she was the daughter of the late Augustus Hensley and Virginia Starling Hensley.

Judy was a pillar of kindness and generosity. Neither a person nor an animal’s need went unmet when she was aware and could help. She left behind a legacy to inspire others to pay forward, as they had watched her do also.

She is survived by four daughters, Linda Testerman and husband, Michael, Janet Nesselrodt, Lynn Jessup and husband, Chuck and Sherry Jones and husband, Hudson, one son, James York and wife, Jeannie, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a special granddaughter, Candy Perkins, whom she raised.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rickard, one daughter, Angela Lynn Thompson and two granddaughters, Kimberly and Stephanie.

Services will be held at a later date in the spring.
