Judy Joy Painter, 80, of Harpers Ferry, WV passed away Saturday, July 13, 2024 at her residence.

Born January 10, 1944 in Mannings, WV, she was the daughter of the late Lester Jenkins and Josephine Wiley.

She was of the Baptist faith.

Judy was a CNA caregiver most of her life. She was an avid crafter and gardener and made sure Ralph walked the line.

She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Ralph Painter, Sr., at home, two daughters, Pamela Kirk and Trudy Rinker and husband, Larry, two sons, Ralph Painter, Jr. and Jamie Allan, four grandchildren, Tiffany, Justin, Ralph III and Bradley, nine great-grandchildren and two sisters, Joann Viands and Linda Carlisle.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Jimmy and Todd Painter and one grandson, Jonathan Rinker.

Services will be held at 1:30 pm on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV with Pastor Bobby Holmes officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant View Memory Gardens in Martinsburg, WV.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Ralph Painter, Jr., Ralph Painter, III, Jamie Painter, Justin Painter, Mark Painter and Jeffrey Viands.
