Julia Evelyn Rice, 93, of Berkeley Springs, WV passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at her grandson's residence in Ranson, WV

Born January 17, 1928 in Kifer, MD, she was the daughter of the late Mike Crane and Maude Hartman Crane.

Julia loved her career in retail shoe sales at Woody's in Tyson Corner, and she would have done that job for free.

She is survived by one son, David L. Rice and wife, Adele of Ridgeley; seven grandchildren, Jennifer Barton, Shane Rice, Joshua Rexrode, Tyrel Rice, John Rice, Ian Tyler, and  Jaimie Daknas; 21 great- grandchildren, three great -great-grandchildren and one sister, May Kidwell.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Glen in 2007, one daughter, Shirley Tyler, two sisters, Mary Dean and Shirley Campbell, and three brothers, John Nelson Crane, Floyd Crane and Sonny Crane.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at Community Church, 19790 Ashburn Road, Ashburn, VA. 20147
