Kathleen Marie Kerns, 71, of Harpers Ferry, WV passed away April 18, 2024 at her residence.

Born March 1, 1953 in Indianapolis, IN, she was the daughter of the late Martin Joseph Kerns, Sr. and Dorothy Ford Kerns.

She was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Neersville, VA.

She is survived by two sisters, Marilyn Aubele of North Braddock, PA and Patricia Armstrong and husband, Robert of Harpers Ferry, WV, two brothers, Martin Joseph Kerns, Jr. and wife, Catherine of Charles Town, WV and Michael John Kerns and wife Andrea of Harpers Ferry and many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family in whose lives she played the role of a matriarch.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Joseph Aubele, nephew, Martin Joseph Kerns, III and two great-nephews, Phoenix Pastor and Gabriel Reid Nichols.

Services will be held at 3:00 pm on Monday, April 22, 2024 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV with Rev. Ralph Carver officiating.

The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
