Kathryn McKee, 93, of New Smyrna Beach, FL, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2024  at Daytona Beach, FL.

Born December 27, 1930 in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late Christos Tames and Athena Koskounos.

She was a member of the Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in New Smyrna Beach, FL.

She is survived by four children, daughters, Sheila McKee of Bethesda, MD and Karen McKee (and Marianne Ouran) of Lewes, DE, sons, Thomas Joseph McKee and wife, Deborah of Charles Town and Timothy McKee and wife, Kelye of Charles Town and five grandchildren, Thomas N. and wife, Anna, Mark, Christopher and wife, Kelsey, John and Amanda.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Michael McKee and siblings, Bessie Hoffman, Sophie Fox, George, Steve, and James Tames.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at St. James Catholic Church, 49 Crosswinds Drive, Charles Town, WV with Father Timothy Grassi as the Celebrant.  Interment will follow in St. Peters Cemetery in Harpers Ferry, WV.
