Kathy M. Cogle, 72, of Charles Town, WV passed away on Friday, September 10, 2021 at Berkeley Medical Center in Martinsburg, WV.

Born April 18, 1949 in Brunswick, MD, she was the daughter of the late Earl Harper and Beulah Thompson Harper.

She was a member of Silver Grove United Methodist Church. Kathy was a graduate of Brunswick High School.

She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and lived for her family. She loved the beach and would hide saltwater taffy in inconspicuous places.

She is survived by three daughters, Jennifer Lynn Smoot and husband, Bo of Harpers Ferry; Dana Lynn Howell and husband, Aaron of Harpers Ferry and Kimberly Ann Lavely and husband, Jon of Charles Town; eight grandchildren, Delmar, Emily, Jason, Zachery, Ethan, Andrew, Austin, Graycee ; three great grandchildren, Tristan, Alaina and Ainsley and nephew, Matthew.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Delmar in 1987, two brothers, Tommy and Chip Harper, one grandson, Jesse Dailey and one brother-in-law, Mark Cogle,

Services will be held at 11 am on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Silver Grove United Methodist Church with Pastor Mike Lida officiating.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
