Kenneth "KC" Nichols, 58, of Ranson, WV passed away on Monday, December 5, 2022 at Jefferson Medical Center. He was born on October 30, 1964 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Crystal Carbone Nichols of Ranson; mother, Jackie Scott of Indianapolis; father, Kenneth (Donna) Nlchols; children, Tristen and Branson Nichols of Knoxville; brothers, Justin "Boomer" Nichols of Phoenix, Chad and Clint Hughes of Indianapolis; sisters, Lesley (Chris) Harder and Lori (Jim) Lee of Indianapolis; stepmother, Crystal Smith of Indianapolis, mother-in- law, Carolvn Carbone of Ranson; sister-in-law, Leslie (Kevin) Steeley of Charles Town; numerous nieces and nephews, and faithful companion, Rooney.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Florence Scott; father-in-law, James V.Carbone; grandmother-in-law, Helene Wilson and brother-in-law, James R. Carbone.
KC was a member of the 1983 Class of Countryside High School, Clearwater, Florida. His chosen profession was the Restaurant industry, where he met his wife, Crystal, at Bennigan's Tampa Stadium. KC continued to pursue his career into a leadership role, and throughout his life, he was a natural role model and influenced many lives.
KC's humor was known to many and loved by all. He was an avid music lover, particularly "The Stones", which he documented with a colorful tattoo. He was a trivia master, sports and movie enthusiast and a lifetime Tampa Buccaneers fan, "GO BUCS".
KC will be dearly missed by family and an abundance of friends.
