Kenneth Lee Walker, 91, of Charles Town passed away Thursday, November 3, 2022 at Hospice of the Panhandle in Kearneysville, WV.
Born May 23, 1931 in Zoar, Jefferson County, WV, he was the son of the late Warren Murray Walker and Elizabeth Frye Walker.
Kenneth was a commercial construction mechanic and job-site superintendent for over 30 years in Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia. He loved country music, estate sales, flea markets, and yard sales.
Kenneth is survived by his wife of 20 years, Patricia Parker Ott Mills Walker, at home, two daughters, Judy Walker Marcus and Kathy Walker McGee; two step sons that he raised, Craig Stevens(Jessie) and Brian Stevens (Tena); two step children, Bobby Ott (Hong) and Patty Dorsey (Flip); one sister, Jane Willingham (Buck), sisters-in-law, Patricia C. Walker, Patricia M. Walker, and Gloria Walker; grandchildren Heath Marcus (Jen), Jennifer Martinez Coleman, Michael Stevens, Aaron Stevens, Cody Stevens, Natalie Stevens, Philip Dorsey (Jennifer), Christopher Dorsey (Amanda), Tyler Torlone (Nicole); numerous great grand children and numerous nieces and nephews.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his first wife (and mother of his daughters) Beulah Walker Johnson Shiflett, second wife, Gladys V. Stevens Walker; daughter, Elizabeth "Betsy" Walker Best; brothers Garland (Jean) Walker, Warren "Dick" Walker, Donald "Butch" Walker, William "Pete" Walker; sisters, Viola Walker Boyd, Margaret "Tootie" Walker Gageby, and Eleanor Walker Zombro; and son in law Terry Marcus.
The family would especially like to thank LaVern Armel for all her help, support and care, and thanks to Rick Hahn, Luther Nutter, Doug Willis, and Ricky Stottlemyer for their help whenever needed!
A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, March 12, 2023 at Independent Fire Co. in Ranson, WV.
