Kirby W. DeHaven, 66, of Summit Point, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2026.

Born in Ranson on March 8, 1960, he was a lifelong resident of the area and the son of the late Lawrence and Elinor "Libby" DeHaven.

Kirby was the devoted husband of Holly DeHaven. A beloved brother and friend, he is survived by his siblings: Karl DeHaven, Kathryn Rudisill, Kendall DeHaven, and Kevin Combs.

Known for his steady presence and the ways he touched the lives of those around him, Kirby will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His family and friends will hold his memory dear, finding comfort in the time they shared together.

In honoring their loved one’s wishes, the family will not hold a public service or gathering. They appreciate your understanding during this time.
