Larry Winston Howell, 76, of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia passed away Monday, February 7, 2022 at his home.

Born April 22, 1946 in Charles Town, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Charles Howell, Jr. and Ada Viands Howell.

He was of Pentecostal faith.

Larry was full of ingenuity, which made him a great craftsman. He was an avid car and motorcycle enthusiast. When you had Larry as your friend, you had a great friend in Larry.

He is survived by one daughter, Corinia Engle and husband, Garland; two grandsons, Clint Engle and wife, Stephanie and Geremey Engle and wife, Erin; one great-granddaughter, Abigail Sisson; one sister, Brenda Stevens; one brother, Autry Howell, as well as many nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 57 years, Sonja; three sisters, Euleh Barger, Gloria Mae Rinker and Barbara Jean Fillers.

Services will be held Thursday, February 10, 2022 at 2:30pm at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV, with Pastor Colt Vaughan officiating. Interment will follow at Edge Hill Cemetery in Charles Town, WV.

Family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
