Lois Eileen Turner, 74, of Inwood, WV passed away Monday, February 21, 2022 at her residence.
Born December 10, 1947 in Charles Town, WV, she was the daughter of the late Elmer Rodney Jenkins and Mary Margaret Wilt Jenkins.
Lois was a very warm and kind soul. Lois was of Methodist faith. She was employed for the Loudoun County, Virginia School Board system before her health prevented her from working outside of the home. Lois then enjoyed full time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Lois also loved reading, gardening, and home design and became a connoisseur of all things food. Lois especially loved her large family holiday celebrations.
Lois was loved by all whose lives she touched.
She is survived by one son, Shawn Turner of Inwood; three daughters, Angela Rowe and husband, Keith of Bunker Hill; Tamara Brighty and husband, Alan of Hedgesville; and Monica Turner and fiance', Patrick Dickman of Shepherdstown, WV, nine grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, three sisters, Charlotte Viands, Kimberly Smeltzer and Marsha Lickey and two brothers, Warren and Rex Jenkins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandson, Anthony and three brothers, Roger, Bruce and Barry Jenkins.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV with Dr. Henry Christie officiating. Interment will follow in Edge Hill Cemetery in Charles Town, WV.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6-8 pm.
