Lonnie Eugene Anderson, 74, of Ranson, WV passed away Friday, January 27, 2023 at his son's residence.

Born May 30, 1948 in Leesburg, VA, he was the son of the late Lonnie Audis Anderson and Sidney Mae Huffman Anderson.

He was of the Christian faith.

He was a veteran of the US Army.

Lonnie retired from Superior Paving with over 20 years of service. He was an avid hunter and each of his grandchildren held a special place in his heart.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Barbara Taylor Anderson, at home; three daughters, Kimberly Viands and husband, Stacey, Kelly Stillions and husband, "Skeeter" and Tuesdi Miller and husband, Ben, all of Jefferson County; one son, Lonnie E. Anderson II and wife, Leslie, 15 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, faithful K-9 companion, Little Ricky, one sister, Angie Anderson, two brothers, Michael Anderson and wife, Marlean and Jimmy Anderson.

In addition to parents, he is preceded in death by fathers-in-law, Clarence Taylor and Donald Hopkins, mother-in-law, Arlene Hopkins and brother-in-law, Rodney Taylor.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at Fellowship Bible Church, 160 Daniel Road, Shenandoah Junction, WV with Pastor Van Marsceau officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant View Memory Gardens in Martinsburg, WV.

The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
