Lyn A. Bishop, 71, of Charles Town, WV passed away Saturday, September 13, 2025 at her residence.

Born July 3, 1954 in Tacoma Park, MD, she was the daughter of the late Ezachaeus Lester DeBow and Betty Jane Herberson DeBow.

She was of the Christian faith.

Lyn volunteered at the Clarke County Animal Shelter, where she adopted her cat, "Big Mac", which was the love of her life. She was known for her skill in wood carving, and those who knew her appreciated her generosity and kindness.

She is survived by six sisters, Betty Jane Sirk, Joyce Stanley, Leslie Keller, Carol DeBow, Deborah Demmons and Barbara Huff.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, John Richard DeBow, Sr.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on September 25, 2025 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
