Obituary

Margaret Ann Wilson, 88, of Harpers Ferry, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on November 10, 2022.

Born July 1, 1934 in Harlan, KY, she was the daughter of the late George Wesley White and Nannie Watkins White.

Margaret was of the Pentecostal faith.

She is survived by two daughters, Jo Ann Ring and Lesley Gearhart; one son, Jerry Wilson, Sr. and wife, Sharon; eight grandchildren, Richard, Steph, Jeffrey, Amy, Jerry, Jr., Zach, Tyler and Kelsey,  13 great-grandchildren, Hannah, Dakota, Sophia, Isaac, Kian, Maddy, Harper, Maverick, Abigail, Annabelle, Adeline, Jake and Bentley  and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frederick Wilson, brothers, George, Amos, JL, Carl and Jim White and one sister, Betty White.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV with Rev. Jerry W. Wilson, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant View Memory Gardens in Martinsburg, WV.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 from 6-8 pm.

Pallbearers will be Logan Ring, Zach Thomas, Tyler Thomas, Jake Ring, Jeffrey Womer, and Kian Hauser.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Panhandle, 330 Hospice Lane, Kearneysville, WV 25430.
