Obituary

Marilyn E. Cavallaro, 92, of Ranson, West Virginia passed away Sunday, February 5, 2023 at her home.

She was born April 3, 1930 in The Bronx, New York and was the daughter of the late Anthony Kayser and Alice Rose Carney Kayser.

She was a member of the Roman Catholic Parish of St. James the Greater in Charles Town, WV.

Marilyn was very dedicated to her church and community.

She is survived by two sons, Dennis Francis Cavallaro and companion, Sarah of Asburn, VA and Andrew Joseph Cavallaro of Laurel, MD; two grandchildren, Nicolette and Anthony; niece, Mary McGreevy and nephew, Kevin McGreevy.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank, in 2017; two sisters, Claire McGreevy and Joan Kayser; two brothers, Robert and Tom Kayser.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 17, 2023 at 11:00 am at St. James Catholic Church, 49 Crosswinds Drive, Charles Town with Father Timothy Grassi as the Celebrant. Inurnment will follow at St. Leo's Cemetery in Inwood, WV.

The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to service with a Rosary at 10:30 am.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. James Catholic Church, 49 Crosswinds Drive, Charles Town, WV 24514.
