Obituary

Mark Joseph Kramer, 49, of Harpers Ferry, passed peacefully at home on Tuesday, November 9, 2010, surrounded by his family and some friends, following a two-year battle with multiple myeloma.

Born on January 7, 1961, in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of the late Joseph G. and Katherine Mae Kramer.

He was of the Christian faith.

Mark was the founder and owner of Harpers Ferry Plumbing and Heating for twenty-three years. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a devoted husband and father, and a dedicated and genuine friend to many. His love and presence will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his loving wife of twenty-seven years, Wanda Kramer, at home; one son, Jessie Kramer and wife, Amy, of Harpers Ferry; one daughter, Amanda DeRonda and husband, Tony, of Charles Town; one uncle, Meredith Gross and wife, Betty, of Taneytown, MD; two aunts, Sylvia Gross of Taneytown, MD, and Sister Gertrude Marie Kramer of Baltimore, MD; and numerous cousins.

Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, November 12, 2010, at the Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, US 340 at Halltown Road, Charles Town/Harpers Ferry, with visitation three hours prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Panhandle, 122 Waverly Court, Martinsburg, WV 25403.
