Mary E. Dodson Boyer, 73, died January 26, 2016 at Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA.
Born September 8, 1942 in Luray, VA, one of 11 children, she was the daughter of the late Hurbert and Flossie Burker Dodson.
Mary had a cleaning business for several years. She loved her family dearly. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She leaves behind her husband, Lloyd Boyer, one daughter, Dana Barron, sons, Ted and Lee Gaynor, step-daughter, Kelley Boyer, grandson, Travis Barron, granddaughter, Tawnie Gaynor, three great-granddaughters, several nieces, nephews, cousins, five siblings and one very special little man, Lucas Dodson.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Donna Gaynor, three sisters and two brothers.
Services will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, February 1, 2016 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV with Pastor Mason Carter officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home two hours prior to the service on Monday.
