Mary Evelyn Elliott, 99, of Ranson, WV passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2024 at her home.

Born December 12, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Robert Lee Wiley and Mary Betty Bayles Wiley. She spent her life serving God and preached many sermons. She loved her family and her pets.

She is survived by her daughter, Betty Willett and son Mike Elliott (Mary), numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Forrest Rufus Elliott; three sons: Ronnie Elliott, Rudy Elliott, and Donnie Elliott; and four grandchildren: Kelly Ballenger, Paul Ballenger, Phillip Elliott, and J.J. Curtis. She was the twelfth of 13 siblings and the last surviving.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30pm, Thursday, August 29, 2024 at Eackles & Spencer Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV with Pastor David Palmer and Pastor Mark Unger officiating.

Interment will be at Pleasant View Memory Gardens.

The family will receive family and friends Wednesday from 6 – 8pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Mike Elliott, Jamie Elliott, Brian Elliott, Tyler Elliott, Mike Darnell, and Bill Reedy.
