Maura Sinclair Crowther, 92, of Charles Town, West Virginia passed away Sunday, September 4, 2022 at Care Haven Center in Martinsburg.

She was born May 13, 1930 in the Bronx, New York and was the daughter of the late Bertram Sinclair and Margret Halpin.

She was of the Roman Catholic faith.

Maura was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She had an attitude of love and respect for everyone.

She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Dean; two daughters, Sybil Williams and husband, Lance, and Donna Sinclair, one son, John Sinclair; one brother, James Sinclair; two granddaughters, Rachael and Jessica; two great-grandsons, Cash and Gabriel and many other grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Alfred Sinclair and one uncle, Father Jack Halpin.

A Mass of Christian burial will be Friday, September 8, 2022 at 9:00 am at St. James the Greater Catholic Church, 49 Crosswinds Drive, Charles Town, WV 25414 with Father Timothy Grassi as Celebrant, assisted by Deacon Dave Galvin. Interment will follow at Mount Comfort Cemetery in Alexandria, Virginia.

The family will receive friends Thursday, September 8, 2022 from 6-8 pm at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV with a Vigil and Rosary at 7:30 pm
