Merry Eleanor Goddard (n'ee Zischerk) of Charles Town, West Virginia, formerly of Detroit/Farmington Hills Michigan passed away at her home in Charles Town, WV on Sunday, February 6, 2022 with her family by her side.

She was born March 15, 1954 in Detroit, Michigan. She graduated from North Farmington High School in 1972, becoming a barber in the mid seventies, taking on and graduating from nursing school in her 40's. She was a confidant, Mother, Wife, My Best Friend, and everything to her sons who were her world.

Merry is survived by her loving husband, Chris "Cougar" Goddard of 32+ years and her best friend ever for over 49 years; Sons, Christopher and wife Jocelyn, son, Mackenzie and sister Shari Dickey.  Merry also leaves behind sister-in-laws Anita Zischerk, Deborah Goddard Schonhoff, husband Ken Schonhoff and many more family members and friends.

"My Sweet Lady" will be living in our hearts forever.

There will be a Celebration of Merry's Life, in Michigan in late spring or early summer.
