Michael Thomas Scott passed away Thursday, October 11, 2018 due to complications from COPD. He was 60 years old. Mike was born in DC, the oldest child and son of Robert Eugene and Patricia Scott. Mike was a long time DMV resident. He was a Licensed Optician and worked at Walmart's Leesburg, VA store.

In addition to his parents, Mike was predeceased by his brother, Edward Scott and husband, Johnny Hess.

Surviving is first wife, Denise Scott, their son Christopher Scott, daughter Stephanie Hinson-DeBose and her husband, Brandon and granddaughter, Jasmin.

Also surviving are sisters, Verna Graziano, Judy Collister, and Cheri Shields and her husband, Raymond; step-son Ian Hess and step-daughter, Jessica Coral Sheldon-Hess; and long-time friend, Raymond Ervin.

A service of remembrance will be held at 2 pm, Sunday, November 4, 2018 at Hidden View Bed & Breakfast, located at 36474 Charles Town Pike, Purcellville/Hillsboro, VA 20132.
