Michael Charles White, 79, of Myersville, MD passed away Sunday, February 18, 2024 at his residence.

Born April 22, 1944 in San Francisco, California, he was the son of the late Charles White and Eileen Sterling White.

He was of the Catholic faith.

Mike earned a Bachelor's in Biology, a Master's in Agriculture, a PHD in Agronomy and a Juris Doctorate in Environmental law. In earlier years, he pursued much travel and adventure and in the latter 40 years, he had a passion for his farm and a great love for his family. He was a devoted husband and a loving and dedicated Dad to four daughters. His love of learning never ceased.

He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Cindy, at home, four daughters, Lisa Marie Lulie and husband, Robert, Sarah Catherine Opseth and husband, Brandon, Amber Kathleen Griffith and husband, Billy and Lauren Elizabeth Robinson and husband, Rob, seven grandchildren, Aaron, Lucas, Leeland, Freya, Ivy, Matthew and Bryce, five sisters, Marie Borovina, Charleen White, Patricia Fogarty, Nancy Gresh and Pauline White and two brothers, Charles and Thomas White.

In addition to parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Daniel White.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at St. John's the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 118 E. 2nd Street, Frederick, MD with Father Bill Kuchinsky as the Celebrant.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Frederick Health Hospice.
