Nancy L. Whittington, 86, of Ranson, WV passed away Thursday, March 19, 2026 at the Hospice of the Panhandle Inpatient Facility in Kearneysville, WV.

Born October 25, 1939 in Millville, WV, she was the daughter of the late Franklin Henry Thompson and Madeline Dillow Thompson Willingham.

She was of the Pentecostal faith.

She is survived by four sons, Donald E. Whittington of Ranson, Ronald L. Whittington and wife, Kim of Ranson, Kevin A. Whittington and wife, Brenda of Ranson and Anthony Whittington of Ranson, three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, seven great- great grandchildren and many special friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, Donald C. Whittington and one daughter, Shirley Whittington.

Nancy went to be with the Lord peacefully, surrounded by family and friends.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV with Rev. Bucky Chapman officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant View Memory Gardens in Martinsburg, WV

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
