Naomi Tribby, 87 of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia passed away at Shenandoah Center in Charles Town, WV on Sunday, May 21, 2023.

Born in Charles Town, West Virginia on November 28, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin James and Molly Mae (Dennison) James.

She was a member of Bolivar Pentecostal Church.

Naomi was retired from the Cindy Dee Restaurant as a cook with over 40 years of service. She enjoyed her family, most of all and holiday gatherings and Ocean City trips. Her favorite past time were music, dancing, reading and yard sales.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Tribby and companion Rolfe Walsh of Harpers Ferry; six grandchildren, Amy, Larry (Jr.), James, Brian, Laura, Crystal; two step-grandchildren, Arthur and Kim; along with many great and several great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded by her beloved husband, Gene Larry Tribby; two sisters, Blanche Jones and Leona Baugher; two brothers, Franklin James and Norman James; one daughter, Judy Pine; two sons, Steven Tribby and Larry Tribby.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV with Rev. Frank James officiating.  Interment will follow in Fairview Lutheran Cemetery in Bolivar, WV.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6-8 pm and one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
