Nimer Exaltacion Gutierrez, 78, of Charles Town, WV, passed away on June 14, 2026, in Ranson, WV.

Born on September 14, 1947, in Lima, Peru, he was the son of Aurelio and Lidia Gutierrez. He was of the Catholic Faith.

He is survived by his wife, Maria R. Guardia Villafuerte; five daughters, Erika, Jessica, Maricruz, Karina, and Lidia; two sons, Edward, and Ricardo; fourteen grandchildren, Nayelli, Aisha, Jair, Micaela, Christopher, Nicole, Angelique, Hamed, Jacqueline, Evelyn, Cruzita, Dylan, Emily, and Isabella.

A funeral liturgy will be held on June 30, 2026, at 2:00 P.M., at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV, with Father Travis Moger officiating. Interment will follow at Edge Hill Cemetery in Charles Town, WV.

The family will receive friends on June 29, 2026, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., with a vigil starting at 7:00 P.M.
