Norman E. Jackson, Sr., 75, was called home on August 5, 2021.

Born on August 20, 1945, in Harpers Ferry, WV, he was the son of the late Thomas Jackson and Marguerite (Rodgers) Jackson.

He was of the Methodist faith.

Norman was a concrete finisher and foreman for the William A. Hazel Co. and retired after 39 years of service.

He enjoyed throwing horseshoes, shooting pool, and playing Texas Hold'em poker. He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles in Brunswick.

Surviving, are two sons; Norman "Jay" Jackson, Jr. and Christopher Jackson, former wife; Barbara Jackson, one grandson; Brice Jackson, two sisters; Retha Cogle and Joy Peebles, two brothers; Willard Jackson and Mervin Jackson, one special nephew; O.J. Jackson, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters; Joyce Cox and Lorella Penwell, and two brothers; Wayne Jackson and Ellard "Bunk" Jackson.

Services will be held on Monday, August 16, 2021, at 2:00 P.M. at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV with pastor Bucky Chapman officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Panhandle, 330 Hospice Lane, Kearneysville, WV 25430.
